Are you due a Section 75 refund?

Section 75 laws mean your credit card must protect purchases over £100 for free, so if there is a problem you could get your money back.



Pay for something costing between £100 and £30,000 on credit and the provider is equally liable if something goes wrong. It is a legal protection put in place so that you are never in the position of paying off debt for something you didn’t receive, or that wasn’t as it should have been.


If the debtor under a debtor-creditor-supplier agreement falling within section 12(b) (c) has, in relation to a transaction financed by the agreement, any claim against the supplier in respect of a misrepresentation or breach of contract, he shall have a like claim against the creditor, who, with the supplier, shall accordingly be jointly and severally liable to the debtor. 75a If the debtor under a linked credit agreement has a claim against the supplier in respect of a breach of contract the debtor may pursue that claim against the creditor.

How does it work?

If you wish to pursue a claim with us, we will request information from you which we will use to assess whether you may have a claim. If we believe you may have a relevant claim, we will provide you with our documentation for you to sign. If you wish to use our claims management services, you can sign and return these documents to us. Once we have received all the relevant documentation, we will contact the Bank on your behalf and deal with all queries relating to your claim, and also fight your case. If the banks turn the claim down, we will get in touch to discuss the options available, including escalating the claim to the Financial Ombudsman on your behalf. If you wish to do so, we will then help you complete the necessary forms and by dealing directly with the FOS on your behalf. 



Please note the Ombudsman can take in excess of six months to make a decision, and their decision is final. If they believe you have a valid claim they will instruct the bank to issue a full refund, the banks cannot appeal the Ombudsman’s decision.

OUR Fees

We do not charge any upfront fees for a consumer credit claim, this is undertaken on a speculative basis. Upon successful completion of your claim we will charge a fee at a percentage relative to the total redress. You will be advised exactly what our fees will be upfront, once we have details of your claim, and before you sign any contract. Once again, these fees are only payable once your claim is complete and only if your claim is successful.


If you cancel your case within 14 days of starting the claim, there will be no charge. If you cancel your case after the initial 14 day period, but before the conclusion, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee on any work that has been completed by us, after the initial 14 day period but before the receipt of your notice of cancellation. Our cancellation fee is based on a rate of £50 per hour.
